Review Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm

Allô!

There is a mall which could be reach by walking for at most 5 minutes near my university. And at that mall, Tony Moly opened a store inside it. Before, I never heard about Tony Moly at all. I'm all familiar with Face Shop, The Body Shop, Etude, and Skin Food but not with Tony Moly. One of my friends said that Tony Moly is a cosmetic and skincare shop from Korea and remembering how flawless Korean people skin are, I think I'll just give it a try.

Tony Moly has this cute egg packaging range. I bought one of them called Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm. Unlike the rest of the product which is a skincare, this product is actually a makeup base. Contain 20ml, I bought it at idr 169, more expensive than the other.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TonyMoly Eggpore Silky Smooth Balm is a concealer that is enriched with protein, effectively make the pores on nose invisible. Contains Magnolia bark and bud bean extracts, it soothes the irritation caused by daily pollution and free radicals The egg and camellia extracts further control sebum secretion, leaving your face soft and oil-free, make up will last longer as well.

PACKAGING

This product is definitely not travel friendly. I knew that Tony Moly is trying to have the same theme, but aside for the cute golden egg packaging, I prefer it to be smaller. Hold the lid and turn it around, after that, you could see a cover which keeps the primer under it safe. Anyway, somehow after you used up all the product, you could break the top of the lid and re-purpose it into a flower pot. How cute it would be?

TEXTURE

This primer has a really smooth and velvety texture. I couldn't really said that it was a balm, but it somewhere similar enough.

RESULT
I couldn't said that this primer really fills my pores gap. It does fills the pore which is smaller, but doesn't work really well with people who has bigger pores. But anyhow, this product really make applying BB Cream or foundation much much much easier. My face does feel smoother even though I couldn't really said about the oil control. After applying this primer, my BB Cream just glides easily.

Positive
- Cute packaging shape
- Repurpose packaging into small flower pot
- Smooth and velvety texture
- Makes applying BB Cream or foundation glides easily

Negative
- Definitely not travel friendly
- Doesn't fill large pores
- Doesn't has oil control

Recommended?
Not really sure I would recommend it. But this product is just an okay for me since doesn't really fill the large pores. If you interested you could try it. But I do love the fact that after using this product all of my makeup routine becomes easier because it makes it glides really smoothly.

à bientôt!
