Review Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Allô!

Hey how are you all doing? Remember all the rave about Naked 3 palette? Well, I got myself one and it's time to review it!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Experiment with 12 NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN (and insanely beautiful) rose-hued neutrals—from pale, shimmery pink to deep black matte with rosy red micro-glitter.

PACKAGING
Honestly, I'm in love with the packaging. Urban Decay made a really great job with their product. I love the texture on the package. The overall hue really set the mood. Naked 3 is beautiful inside out and I kinda obsessed with the package! (Sorry, designer graphic syndrome hehe). The container (remind me of a metal pencil case, the beautiful one though) is sturdy and it came with the brush. I can't stop raving about the package, but I guess I'll stop for now ahaha.

TEXTURE
Naked 3 has a rose gold colours, which is pretty brave for Urban Decay. You see, this palette has a pretty much warm colour, which might not flatter everyone. I love the palette though maybe some girls with darker skin tone might have different opinion with me.

Here's the description of the colour which is from its official website,

  • Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin),
  • Dust (pale metallic pink shimmer with iridescent micro-glitter),
  • Burnout (light pinky-peach satin),
  • Limit (light dusty rose matte),
  • Buzz (metallic rose shimmer w/silver micro-glitter),
  • Trick (light metallic pinky-copper shimmer w/tonal micro-sparkle),
  • Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte),
  • Liar (medium metallic mauve shimmer),
  • Factory (pinky-brown satin),
  • Mugshot (metallic taupe shimmer w/slight pink shift),
  • Darkside (deep taupe-mauve satin), and
  • Blackheart (smoky black matte w/rosy red micro-sparkle).

RESULT
The colour stays pretty well on my lids, though the lighter one faded over hours. I'm in love with the darker colours. The texture itself, mostly pretty easy to blend. Urban Decay stated that the Naked 3 contains the colour never seen before. I might partially agree because it has a really gorgeous colour. My personal favourites are Strange (I swear it is really pretty!) and Nooner. The worst was Dust which is a huge boomer. It has glitter but won't show up much on my lids and fades the quickest.

Positive
- Gorgeous and sturdy packaging
- Pretty pigmented and stay pretty well on lids

Negative
- Might not compliment darker skin tone (the lighter colour won't show well)

RECOMMENDED?
I'm honestly in love with the palette. I knew that many people don't agree with me since the hue might be a little too much for daily look (I use the darker tone, a more neutral one for daily use though) and a lot of people couldn't get it together. Though this is my personal recommendation, but just give this product a try, you will never know how much you could fall with the colours hehe.

à bientôt!

  1. Hi, I coincidentally saw this post while blog walking after UD Naked 3 reviews. When I first noticed your UD Naked 3, why did I find this is different with the one I've seen in different blogs I've visited earlier? It's obviously there's no any green/blue color in it. And "Factory" is not similar to the description you have mentioned. While you wrote as "Pinky brown Satin" but the photo said differently. So are many reviews I've read the other day. If I am not mistaken, could it possibly fake?
