Review Revlon Eyebrow Pencil

Allô!

Hey how are you all doing? I've a pretty thin and sad eyebrow. Usually I just let it the way they are. I always know that eyebrow plays a really big role in your overall make-up. But well, I kinda couldn't draw them ahahha. Well things must be change. So I purchase the product (for photoshoot purpose actually). After using it several time, I guess this is finally time for reviewing it!

Review Tony Moly Perfect Eyes Eyeliner

Allô!

Hey! How are you all doing? Today I'll review about another Tony Moly product which is its Perfect Eyes Eyeliner. This is my second time buying it. And noooo, not because I was so impressed I bought it for the second time. It's because I lost it approximately three days after I bought it. Yay for my clumsiness! I was so depressed because I only got three chances to use it but last week when I was window shopping with my friend, I happened to encounter buy 2 for 1 price sale at Tony Moly! I frantically grab the eyeliner and ran straight to the cashier! Haha!

Review X2 Bio Premium Quality Lense

Allô!

Hey. how are you all doing? Today I'm going to review another contact lense brought to you by X2. I know, I know. I bought X2 contact lenses wayy too much. Ahahaha. But what can I say? It's affordable and comfortable enough for my eyes. There was a time where I got myself an eye irratation on which I couldn't wear any contact lenses at all. Let alone X2' products. I have tried the glorious Acuvue lenses and it still bring the irritation back.

The morale of the story? Make sure to clean your contacts diligently and throughly every single night. Back then I was too lazy to clean my lenses after I used them. I always feel beat up whenever came back home and simply remove the contacts and put it into its container without rinsing it at all. I clean it when I want to use it the next day. I also not always clean and change the water in the container. And.. that's where the bacteria came and irritated my eyes.

Luckily as the time passed by the irritation were cured and I could use my contact again. I hate wearing eyeglasses. And I couldn't see anything without any help. If you really want to use contact lenses, make sure you are diligent enough to keep up with the maintenance. Well, what can I say. Beauty comes with a price ahahaha.

Review Infinity Foundation Case

Allô!

Hey there! When I said I need a loose powder to Mom, she suddenly gave me the Infinity Primal White Foundation the next day. It's not exactly a powder. But well, since it's free, I'm good ahahha.

Today I want to show you about the case. I just found out that we have to purchase both of the case and the product seperately for a pretty price (for a student like me at least).

Kosé Sekkisei Haul

Kosé, especially the Sekkisei line, has been my family favourite skincare brand. My grandma uses it, my mom uses it, so ultimately me and my sister also uses it. Well I understand why Kosé has been such a sweetheart for my family. Somehow it suits our skin condition well. And ever since I started using it (I've only using it when suddenly I'm aware of taking care my skin) I notice my face brighten drastically. My face feels so soft and supple! I'm in love ahaha.

So today I want to show some of the Kosé products which laying all over my vanity.

1.  Lotion and Mask.
The big blue bottle there is actually what we called a toner. I don't know why the Japanese called lotion, but yeah just for clarification. I always use it after I take the shower. Mine is the 360ml, they have the smaller one if you wanna try out.

2. Sun Protect Gel
It has SPF50 PA+++ so it's great. Back then I didn't care at all about sunscreen, but as I get more knowledge, I finally realised how terrifying UV Ray and UV B could be. I've been using this not only on my face, but also my body ahahaha.

3. Cream
Mainly I use this as the night cream because when I asked one mom gave me this. So I figured out it is a night cream. Turns out it could be use as a day cream too, it is light enough and doesn't feel sticky. So I've been using this twice a day.

4. Day Essence
SPF25 PA+. This is the newest product of my collection. I've only use it several times because I tend to forget. It is a really nice product because I feel that my skin absorb it quickly so it doesn't feel sticky at all. And though it has its own sun protection, I still layer it with the Sun Protect Gel. Well, better be safe than sorry right? Ahahaa.

5. White BB Cream
In case you confuse, the product is the one who lying in front of the other. This is the best BB Cream I ever use (so far). It has medium coverage though so you'll still need concealor. It has a matte finish. Feels really light on the skin. I don't understand why they name it White BB Cream when the product itself isn't white. Nor it ahs the white finish (okay I'm starting to ramble here).

So there, they are my main routine every single day. Love the product so much. Tell me if you want to see the full review of each product. I might do one in the future.

à bientôt!

Review The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Cream

bonjour!

Hey, how are you all doing? Today I'm going to review a cleansing cream from korean brand, The Face Shop. I got this a long time ago but just get enough time to review about it now.

Cleansing cream is a product which contain little or no soap or detergent. Cleansing cream is usually have an oily base which meant to be applied, then removed with wiping rather than rinsing. It's no use to rinse cleansing cream since oil and water never meant to be together haha.

It's a bit late but I want to share about the H&M VIP Night Party which I attended on last Thursday. I got the invitation from my friend's aunt who knew the PR for the event. This is the first time I ever attended such event which explain why I feel so excited. Furthermore, I feel really happy due to the fact that this is the first ever H&M store which open in Indonesia, and I could get my hand into it earlier than most people.

Review Moor's Covered Stick Foundation

Allô!

Hey how are you all doing? Today I'm going to review about Moor's Covered Stick Foundation. Moor's is make-up line by Mustika Ratu, an Indonesian makeup brand. I don't know if you could find the product outside the country.

This is actually a foundation, but I purposely buy the darker shades because I use the product as contour to define my face. Yeah, the full-blown conturing ahahaha. I've pretty fair skin color, by using darker foundation, you could make the contouring effect much more hardcore :p

Review SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

Bonjour!

I've bought this product for some time already but decided to review now because I want to see the real result. Because there's not such thing as an instant miracle, right? Anyway, my mom is the one who used this product. So, I'll review the product based on her skin condition.

Today review is about Facial Treatment Essence which people called magic water. I persuade my mom to buy it. She finally gave in and bought the trial kit for idr 576 which contain FTE 75ml, a small bottle of toner, and two pieces of sheet masks. After 28 days, the result shows a significant changes. My Mom feels her skin isn't dull looking anymore. Because she feels the result, my Mom finally bought the bigger bottle which contain 250ml for idr around 1,3 million. I persuade her to buy the serum and moisturizer too. After she consult to the sales assistant, she finally bought two products which suit her skin condition best.

Let's start with the facial treatment essence review first.

Review Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm

Allô!

Sorry before for the very very late post ! :( We have gone through a terrible week for the final exam last May and we just need some time off. It turns out we kinda abandon this blog for a while.. But worry not our fellow reader! Now we're back again! So brace yourself! Get ready for a plenty of posts!!

I've told you before that I've a strange addiction to lip balm. I've to apply lip balm for every half an hour or it will swells and hurts me (rarely chapped however). So one day when I was going for a night-out, I forgot to bring my lip balm (this has happens for several times already, fyi). And in the midst of panic and desperation, I grabbed Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm at the drugstore. I bought it for only idr 18. It is so affordable and easy to find. If you live in Indonesia, you could find this lip balm in supermarket like Hypermart and Carrefour, or drugstore like Century and Watsons.

Back then, one of my close friend recommended this lip balm to me. She said that she loves this product and I should try it too. In the midst of desperation I remember what she said to me, so I choose Baby Lips.

Turns out that I love love love this lip balm so much, I decided to try all three of them. Hahaha. A first I'm a bit confused because the US version and Indonesia version are different. In Indonesia, this product only has 3 flavor and not tinted.

Review Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm

There is a mall which could be reach by walking for at most 5 minutes near my university. And at that mall, Tony Moly opened a store inside it. Before, I never heard about Tony Moly at all. I'm all familiar with Face Shop, The Body Shop, Etude, and Skin Food but not with Tony Moly. One of my friends said that Tony Moly is a cosmetic and skincare shop from Korea and remembering how flawless Korean people skin are, I think I'll just give it a try.

Tony Moly has this cute egg packaging range. I bought one of them called Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm. Unlike the rest of the product which is a skincare, this product is actually a makeup base. Contain 20ml, I bought it at idr 169, more expensive than the other.

Review Lancôme Visionnaire

Bonjour!

Sorry it took a while to post this review. Anyway, I, once again, spend a lot of money. AGAIN. I bought this product out of curiosity for idr 1 million. Contains 30 ml. This product tempted me by its  promise to minimize pores, moisturize the skin, fade post acne marks, and all the imperfection of the skin. Lancôme declared that this product is the first skincare product which served all this purposes. Lancôme's vision of skin perfection. One out of two women tempted by a cosmetic procedure decided to postpone it. This product contains LR412 for about 4%.  LR412 is a molecule which repaired damaged skin which perhaps cause by unhealthy life-style and pollution.

I could only guess perhaps its the old design or what. Anyway, that's not important. I bought this product for idr 99. And actually, rather than a mask, I would prefer to call it a scrub. A heavy duty scrub. Let's get to the review.

Review Kosé Happy Bath Day Precious Rose Rose Enrich Lip Essence

Allô!

I am a sucker for pink and cute packaging, especially if it's from Japan. And perhaps, that's the main reason why I bought this cutie Kosé Happy Bath Day Precious Rose Rose Enrich Lip Essence. Kosé launched this Happy Bath Day Precious Rose which (obviously) consists of bath products. It comes with cleansing oil, hand cream, body gel, powder spray, and so on. But what attracts me is its cute, pink, and girly packaging.
Rose Enrich Lip Essence
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Nourishing and hydrating essence gives lips a glossy luster while smoothing out roughness and treating dryness, for irresistibly softer and smoother lips. Luscious rose scent lingers on your lips, effectively calming and soothing senses with every swipe. High gloss formula delivers intense moisturization that plumps up lips and reduces lines. For best results, swipe lip essence on clean lips as often as needed.

PACKAGING
It has a quite soft pink with roses packaging. It holds around 8 gr, small enough to easily bring out with. It comes with a small tube which is great because it is hygienic enough to use rather than if it comes in a jar.

TEXTURE
Unlike the traditional stick lip balm  lip essence usually has a clear gel texture, and so does this product. At first I kinda feel disappointed with  the sticky feeling right after I squished out the product out of its tube. But when I smeared it all over my lips, actually it is not feeling sticky at all, I even feel it moisture my lips well. Although I feel kinda upset about its smell. When I read about Rose Enrich, I immediately thought about rose fragrance, thus I kinda excited. Instead, it has a weird smell, people said it smells like honey. But I feel it has a chemical smell to it. The smell in not strong enough to bother me though.

RESULT
This product indeed does it job to moisture my lips. It helps my dry lips and prevent it to chapped again. My lips feel so smooth and I like the fact that it doesn't feel sticky at all. It has a clear finish, so it could be used as a lipstick base.

Positive:
- Cute and girly packaging
- Hygienic tube
- Non-sticky gel
- Moisture and hydrate really well

Negative:
- Hard to find in Indonesia
- Smell like chemical (most people said it smells like honey though)

Recommended?
Yes. It will be nice to try this product. It really does it job to moisture the lips. But I bought this product when I was in Japan, I don't really know if you could find it in Indonesia. You can try to buy it online though. Anyway, it's just feels nice to switch for a while from the traditional lip-balm stick which I usually use.

Review Mentholatum Medicated Lip Stick

Allô!

Hey everyone! Today I want to share about a product I can't live without, lip-balm. Back then, I've a really severe lip conditions. Due to some unrecognized reasons, my lips swell up and the skin around my mouth is really itchy and red. And the product that save me is Mentholatum Medicated Lip Stick. I've been using this product ever since my elementary school actually, and I'm still using this until today. I have a strange need for using lip balm. After I could bought things with my own money, I will try one lip balm to another but eventually will get back to this product.

Actually, I don't know why this product is called medicated lips stick while it is actually a lip balm. Anyway, I've a lifetime stock of this product in my house. Got this straight from Japan. I have relatives in Japan, so from time to time they will send me this product. I don't really know if you could get this product in Indonesia though.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
"MENTHOLATUM Mediacated Lip Stick" is a medicated lipstick that gives a fresh, invigorating sensation on use. Covers the surface of the lips, guarding it from dry, cold air, preventing chapping and dryness. Contains menthol and camphor, excellent for providing an refreshing sensation to the lips. This is a non-medicinal product.

PACKAGING

Mentholatum Medicated Lip Stick has a fairly simple packaging. Dark green background with white fonts. The cap is pretty tight so you don't need to worry for it to open when you put inside your bag. It has a sturdy body. But I hate the fact that to pull the product out you need to roll it from the bottom. It has the tendency to stuck.

TEXTURE
Tis lip balm has a really strong mint feeling. So if you don't really like the cool and a bit harsh feeling on your lips, this product won't suit well. But since I love the mint feeling, it is okay with me. It has a sturdy texture so it won't chapped easily. This lip balm also fragrance free.

RESULT
I love love love this product. If you have a really chapped lips, this product will fix it all. Your lips will feel so smooth and cool.

Positive:
- Sturdy texture
- Strong mint feeling (depends on your preference, this could be a positive or negative trait)
- Fragrance free
- Secure packaging

Negative:
- Hard to find in Indonesia

Recommended?
Yes. I would love to recommend my life-safer product to everyone especially to those who have a dry and heavily chapped lips. This product really suit my needs and I've been using this as long as I could remember.

Review Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner

I am a big fan of eyeliner. I've a relatively small and dull looking eyes, but by using eyeliner, I could add some drama to my eyes. I prefer to use eyeliner than mascara for some unknown reason. In my opinion, solely using eyeliner is already enough to open up the eyes.

Today review will be about Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner. I bought this product for idr 70 at the drugstore which is really affordable.
ColorStay Liquid Liner

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Elegant, sexy and sophisticated, Revlon® Colorstay™ Liquid Liner allows you to emphasize your eyes with precision. Dries quickly and lasts all day.

PACKAGING

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner has a simple packaging design. I've mine in jet black. It has a small felt applicator, a bit too thick for my liking but easy enough to control. Not really suitable to line lower lash line though. I couldn't make a really thin line with this eyeliner but it doesn't bother me since I like my eyes to have more drama.

TEXTURE

Liquid eyeliner is indeed a liquid. But not to worry, I found this product dries really fast. What impressed me is the fact that this liquid liner comes out really pigmented. I choose jet black and it is indeed a really jet black.

RESULT

I used this product on daily basis and somewhat satisfied enough. It does last all day but in my case I find that the liner always smudge a bit so I have to reapplied the smudged area. I've a bit oily eyelids so, well... Sometimes I feel a my eyelids become a bit stiff when this product dries. Though the stiffness doesn't last long. But, until the end of the day, aside from some smudge in my case, this liquid liner really stay really dark and black.

Positive:
- Easy to use felt applicator
- Very pigmented
- Dries quickly
- Affordable

Negative:
- Smudge a little bit
- Hard to draw a really thin line
- Not suitable for lining lower lash line

Recommended?
Yes. I do recommended this liquid liner especially to people who like their eyeliner really pigmented. The application is fairly easy because of the short brush. I don't think it's easy enough for first time user. Not really work with people who like to keep their eyeliner thing though, but perfect for winged liner.

Review Canmake Perfect Serum BB Cream

Allô!

Nowadays, BB Cream suddenly becomes a must have in most beauty bag. I personally dislike using foundation because it feels heavy and really uncomfortable on my face. But I do realize my face needs some help to even out its color, so BB Cream is like a light out for my problem. Not only it's light enough to use on daily basis, it does the job as moisturizer too, even sun cream at the same time. And now I want to tell you guys about a BB Cream I've been using for this past year, Canmake Perfect Serum BB Cream.

Canmake is a skincare brand from Japan. It is an affordable drugstore product which is pretty popular there. Anyway, I bought it at first because the packaging kinda get a soft spot in my heart. But well, the product works well so it's a nice bonus.

Review Lancôme Génifique Youth Activator

Bonjour!

I already know this product for a quite some time, but because it's really pricey, I haven't gotten my hand on it. Until one day, I read StellaLee's review about it. It really pricks my interest. Feeling exceptionally determine, after a long struggles, I finally get my hand on this baby! Yayness!

I used this product for about 3 months. Why it's only survived for 3 months? Well, because somehow, my mom also used this product and nearly make it her own. She used a handful of one pump every time when it only needs a really tiny amount. Actually this product could last around 5-6 months depending of the usage. I use 3-4 drops for each usage.

Lancôme Génifique Youth Activator comes with two sizes, 30 ml and 50 ml. But I choose the smaller one because of the price and I don't know if this product will work well with my skin. Bought this product for idr 1 million while the price for 50ml is around idr 1.500 million if I'm not mistaken.

Lancôme Génifique Youth Activator actually is not a real serum, it works as a booster or some people know it as pre-essence. A booster is usually used after using toner and before applying serum. It works to maximize the skin regeneration process. Skin regeneration process naturally happen once every 28 days for those who're under the age of 25, but after that skin will start to lose it's ability to regenerate. So this product will help returning your skin ability to regenerate as fast as the youth skin does. This is not a really anti-aging product, it regenerates and rejuvenate skin cells. All age and all skin type could give this product a try.
