Review Maybelline Volum Express The Falsie Mascara

Hey! How you're all doing? It's August already. I still couldn't believe we're already in the middle of 2013. Time flies, huh?

Anyway, remember in this post which I say I don't really like mascara and prefer only using eyeliner? Well, I'm going to suck everything up. The truth is these past months I haven't wear my eyeliner at all, instead I'm using mascara. Surprise surprisee. So right now I'm going to review about the mascara I've been using voluntarily.

The Curve Brush

PACKAGING
It has this bright magentaish color with metallic tosca for the label. I find it pretty intriguing though I would prefer a more sophisticated color. This mascara has a curved brush which I found not really help much for application. I had a bit difficulty when I try to apply to lower lashes.

Waterproof test. It doesn't smudge even after I try to rub it.

TEXTURE
The truth is, this mascara dries really fast to the point I have difficulty to build the intensity. I find this mascara does voluminous my eyelashes and lengthen it a bit. And even though Maybelline claims that the product could build volume without clumping, mehh I still find my eyelashes looking like spidey web lashes when I rush.

The great thing about the product is it doesn't transfer nor flakes at all. It stays on my lashes all day long which I appreciate so much.

RESULT
You could see that the mascara does pretty great in volumizing my lashes. Though it's a bit clumpy but in real life it doesn't really obvious. It doesn't smudge, transfer or flakes throughout the day. Anyway, when the formula dried, the lashes are a bit stiff so it holds curl well.

Positive:
- Voluminizing and lengthen a little bit
- Pigmented formula
- Doesn't flake, dries or transfer
- Stay all through the day

Negative
- Dries really fast, hard to build the volume

Recommended?
This is not my favourite mascara, I am planning to try the Stilleto Lash next time. But if you want to you could give this product a try. Aside from clumping, the mascara does a really great job.
